Prayer

You don’t have to know any special prayers if you want to pray – in fact, words can often get in the way. Just picture Jesus, and then say what is in your heart, what you feel.

Not all prayers are answered in the way we might expect or desire, and we don’t always pray for God’s will to be done! Nevertheless, God hears every prayer.

'Oh, come let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker’ – Psalm 95:6

Morning Prayer is at 10.00 am on the first and third Wednesday – a Book of Common Prayer Said Service in the Lady Chapel

At 7.30 pm on the first and third Wednesdays of the month we share a time of Celtic Evening Prayer and Lectio Divina respectively on Zoom.  Please email Reader Gerry Daley for more details

If you have a prayer request or would like more information, please do get in touch with Esther via email or call the vicarage on 0203 620 1885..
